Welcome to Stohr-ee Events, the place where all celebrations are as unique and memorable as each of our couples. Today we are sharing the wedding of Linda and Ouna. They planned a multiday, multievent wedding weekend that was full of family and tradition.
When I first sat down with Linda and Ouna, I didn’t know exactly what they were planning to do for their wedding weekend. They are an amazing couple that is so full of life, love their families and are even more excited to get married. One of my first questions to Ouna was, “What is most important to you on your wedding day?” He said other than getting married, it was that Linda didn’t have any stress during the wedding day. As we continued to talk, they shared that they were planning a multi day wedding celebration that represented each of their different cultures and religious beliefs and most importantly their family.
The first day of their wedding weekend started with a traditional Vietnamese Tea Ceremony

After lunch, they conducted a Muslim ceremony to celebrate Ouna’s family. The next day started with an early morning rehearsal at Las Colinas Country Club for their non-traditional wedding ceremony. After lunch with their family and friends it was time for their traditional Catholic wedding ceremony.

Linda and Ouna’s wedding day was a cool and crisp February day at the Las Colinas Country Club. The original plan was to have their ceremony on the front outdoor lawn, but the 45 degree highs on wedding day along with the high winds made the decision to move inside very easy. They chose to have minimal decor and focus on the experience and food for their guests.
Their wedding reception was full of amazing music, food, drinks and of course dancing. Linda and Ouna’s guests danced the night away and enjoyed her three amazing outfit changes. They ended the night with a sparkler exit and lots of very happy guests!
